Brook Mayborne is a human resources leader with a passion for employee development, coaching, and workplace culture transformation. As Chief Human Resources Officer for the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee, she oversees HR operations, social responsibility, and DEI initiatives—working to create environments where employees can truly thrive.
With several years of experience in coaching, talent strategy, and leadership development, Brook partners with managers to build high-performing teams and foster cultures of continuous growth. She has designed and implemented impactful programs that enhance employee engagement, strengthen leadership pipelines, and improve retention across organizations.
Brook holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and maintains dual senior-level HR certifications (SPHR and SHRM-SCP). In addition to her professional work, she is passionate about mentoring and education—serving as an adjunct HR instructor at UW-Milwaukee and contributing her time and expertise through nonprofit board service.
