Dr. Steven Kulick brings decades of clinical and leadership experience to the Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin Board of Directors. A board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Kulick earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his emergency medicine residency at Northwestern University. Over the years, he has held roles as a health system chief medical officer and medical director for an accountable care organization. He also holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, where he now serves as an adjunct professor in the healthcare MBA program.
Currently Chief Medical Officer for Medicare & Retirement in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Arkansas at UnitedHealthcare, Dr. Kulick is committed to systems that improve health outcomes and access to care. He believes deeply in the mission of Easterseals: “Every person deserves the opportunity to live their best life. Easterseals’ programs provide the support and community that make this possible.”
In addition to his role at Easterseals, Dr. Kulick also serves on the Mequon Park and Open Space Board and the Ozaukee County Human Services Board, and has previously contributed his expertise to several other nonprofit boards.
Dr. Kulick lives in Mequon with his wife Margie, a retired internist. Their two daughters are pursuing careers in law. In his free time, he enjoys gardening, hiking, reading, and traveling.
