Jessica Kotsakis, LCSW, serves as the Director of Children’s Services at Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin, where she oversees the Safe Babies Healthy Families program and future children’s programming. In her role, she leads departmental operations, supervises staff, and drives the development of policies and practices that ensure high-quality, nurturing support for families and young children.
With over two decades of experience in both direct care and macro-level leadership, Jessica brings deep expertise in child welfare, trauma-informed care, and systems-level advocacy. Her professional background spans clinical practice, statewide collaboration, and multidisciplinary team management. She holds an MSW from UW-Milwaukee and maintains credentials in Trauma Counseling, TF-CBT, DBT, and CMIP. Additionally, she has taught as an adjunct professor for more than ten years and serves as a federal grant reviewer for various bureaus.
Jessica’s leadership is grounded in a passion for building healthy, inclusive workplace cultures and fostering meaningful, generational change. She has led numerous initiatives focused on trauma-informed care and diversity, all while balancing procurement, budgeting, and strategic planning responsibilities.
Outside of her professional life, Jessica is the proud mother of an amazing son. She finds joy in running marathons, skydiving, baking, crafting, solving puzzles, and reading—all while embracing life with energy and creativity.
