Joe Galbraith is a licensed architect and founding partner of Galbraith Carnahan Architects, a leading design firm based in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Since its founding in 2012, GCA has earned recognition from the American Institute of Architects for excellence in design, with a focus on creating spaces that foster connection and enhance community well-being. Joe brings deep expertise in architecture and thoughtful, human-centered design to every project—and now to his work as a nonprofit leader.
Joe joined the Easterseals Southeast Wisconsin Board of Directors in December 2024, motivated by a very personal connection to the organization. As the proud parent of a daughter who participates in several Easterseals programs, Joe has seen firsthand the transformative power of inclusion, connection, and support. “All abilities, limitless possibilities”—a phrase printed on his daughter’s summer camp shirt—has become a guiding belief in both his personal life and board service.
In addition to his role with Easterseals, Joe serves on the boards of The Aemilian Preschool, the Wauwatosa Design Review Board, and the Wauwatosa Fire and Code Appeals Board. Outside of work, he enjoys time outdoors at his family’s cabin in Minocqua and proudly serves as the official worm setter and fish hook remover for his daughter’s enthusiastic Bluegill fishing adventures.
