Our After School Program offers middle school, high school, and young adults in transition programs within the Wauwatosa School District, a safe, supportive space to unwind, learn, and grow after the school day. Running Monday through Friday (school days only) until 6:00 p.m. at Wauwatosa West, this program combines homework help, games, and structured activities with opportunities to build social skills, explore interests, and showcase individual talents.
Even just a few hours a week in this type of environment can have a lasting impact. Participants gain independence and confidence as they interact with peers, strengthen friendships, and engage in meaningful activities. Families benefit from knowing their child is supported by trained staff who understand the unique needs of individuals with disabilities, providing peace of mind as well as valuable respite.
What sets our program apart from traditional after school options is the depth of support we provide. With a low 1:5 staff-to-participant ratio, our team is attentive to every camper’s needs and strengths. Staff are trained to support an array of abilities, administer medications and personal cares as needed, and foster an environment that prioritizes inclusion and accessibility. By combining professional care with fun and engaging experiences, we ensure that every participant feels welcomed, supported, and capable of reaching their fullest potential.
